Attendance and Certificate
Attendance is required for Parents who are going through a divorce and have children in Johnson County, Indiana. The parties will not attend the class together and the children who are between the ages (8-16) are required to attend a class as well.
Each party and child will receive a certificate after they complete the class. We will file these with the court and email you a copy the week after you complete the class.
Schedule & Location
Adult classes are held two Saturdays a month from 8-12 p.m. at our office 1195 North Morton Street Suite B Franklin, IN. 46131. You will select a date for your class during registration. You can view our calendar of upcoming dates at the bottom of this page.
Children and Teens classes are held once a month on a Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at our office Your child will only need to be registered once so it is important to decide this before registering. Snack will be served at this class for your child.
The cost of the class is $128 for each parent and children are free. This fee will be paid online during registrations. We do offer a reduced rate for atendees who are receiving government assistance and proof of this assistance can be provided during your registration.
If you need to reschedule your class we do allow you to reschedult two times before charging a new registration fee. To reschedule call 317-738-3273 ext 4 for our Court Ordered Services Director.

- Cause/Case Number
Court documents provide a 17 character number. Do not enter dashes.
- Full Name
- Mailing Address
- Email Address
- Name and date of birth for each child of the marriage.
* IF A CLASS DATE IS NOT OFFERED AS AN OPTION WHEN REGISTERING, THAT CLASS IS EITHER FULL OR THE OTHER PARTY IN YOUR CASE HAS REGISTERED FOR THAT CLASS.

Conversational Skills and Emotional Control
Families will learn how to have the difficult conversations around the divorce with their children as well as with their co-parent. Children will learn that the feelings they are having about the divorce are ok and they are not alone. They will learn how to deal with these feelings.
Resiliency and Coping Skills
Families will learn how to cope with all of the emotions surrounding the divorce as well as grief. They will also learn how to respect others feelings during the process as well.
Co- Parenting Skills
Families will learn how to navigate difficult co parenting decisions and develop a plan to help deal with these issues.
Building Stronger Relationships
Families and Children will learn how they can use their circumstances to help them build a stronger relationship with their children or parents.
